Its smooth surface, superior physical strength, gauge control, Chemical Properties, vapor transmission and low water absorption make Polyester wadding (polywool) roll the right, versatile and dependable solution for many insulation applications.
In the Construction and Building Material Industry, Polyester wadding is mainly used as a substitute for Fiber Glass wool and Mineral Rock wool Insulation for Acoustic and Thermal Treatment as it is safer and a Non-Carcinogenic material in nature. Also, these Polyester wadding (Polywool) rolls are available in various sizes, Thickness and Densities.

HIGH N.R.C
Polyester Wadding / Polywool Foams have a very high N.R.C ranging from 0.75 to 0.90. They are very good for eliminating Low frequency Noise levels and is an excellent Acoustic Treatment material for Theaters, Home Theaters, Conference rooms, Auditoriums etc.

HEALTH HAZARD
Polyester Wadding / Polywool Foams is a Non-carcinogenic Material when compared to Fiber Glass wool insulation and Mineral Rock wool Insulation. They do not cause any harm to humans and is completely safe to handly. No form or irritation or itching sensation is witnessed.

NON COMBUSTIBLE
Polyester Wadding / Polywool Foams is a Non-combustible material and is manufactured in accordance with IS 3144 and BS 476 (part 4). They do not catch fire that easily nor do they produce any form of Toxic smoke in the case of fire. They can withstand Temperature up to 450°C.

ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY
Polyester Wadding / Polywool Foams are manufactured from recycled plastic. They can be reused and recyled. Also, they do not disintegrate or emmit any dust particles after a few years when compared to Fiber glass wool and Mineral Rockwool Insulation.
APPLICATIONS OF POLYWOOL
PARTITION INSULATION
As Polyester wadding (Polywool) has excellent resistance and absorption properties towards heat, thermal and Noise; they can be used as an insulation material in Dry wall Partitions. The process involves installing Polywool within the channel and covering it with a Board. No form of Tissue-wrapping is required for Polywool when compared to glasswool or Rockwool.
FALSE CEILING
The same procedure is applied in False ceiling insulation as well whether it is Gypsum Board False Ceiling or Grid False Ceiling. Polywool Insulation is placed above the channel which is then covered by either Gypsum board or Grid Ceiling tiles. This not only helps in Acoustic treatment but can also help in lowering the temperature of the room by a few degrees.
ACOUSTIC TREATMENT
As Polyester Wadding (Polywool) plays a major role in Acoustic Treatment, these foams can be used in creating Acoustic Panels by wrapping them in fabric and placing it on the wall. Making it a very economical product in areas such as Home theaters, theaters, recording studios & conference rooms. They are an excellent material for eliminating low level Noises.
