MAGNESIUM OXIDE BOARD (MgO BOARD)
Magnesium oxide Board or also known as MgO Board is a combination of magnesium oxide, magnesium chloride, cement and additives. With very good sound reflective properties, Magnesium Oxide Board is an excellent Sound proofing material. They are a good alternative to Gypsum Board and Fiber cement board in the construction of False Ceiling and Sound Proof Partitions. These boards can be used for both interior and exterior applications in residential and commercial spaces.
On the exterior part, Magnesium Oxide Boards can be used as a Fascia, Wall sheathing and Siding. Whereas, for interior applications, MGO Boards can be utilised as a Drop Ceiling Tile, Wall Panelling, Drywall Partition and False Ceiling Board. These boards are environment friendly and are safe for human health.

HIGH FIRE RATING
Many would mistake MGO Boards to be highly flammable because of magnesium being the core material. However, in reality it is totally opposite. After reacting with oxygen, Magnesium becomes a very stable material, which results in producing a Board with High Fire rating properties. The fire protectition of MgO Board ranges from 60 minutes to 240 minutes.

DURABLE
Magnesium Oxide Boards are very durable in nature. This property of MGO Boards comes from the fact that when oxygen reacts with magnesium under high heat and pressure, the process produces a very strong material called MGO (Magnesium Oxide). They can be easily transported, shifted and installed without causing any damage to the board.

SOUNDPROOFING
MGO Boards have very good reflective and soundproofing properties. When clubbed with an insulation material such as Mineral Rockwool, they can easily prevent and eliminate the sound waves from penetrating the wall or ceiling. They are widely used in Theaters, Home Theaters and recording studios in order to prevent the sound from traveling outside the room.

Magnesium Oxide Board is free from any kind of toxic substances like asbestos, ammonia or benzene. They are a Non-carcinogenic material and do not cause any harm during installation. MGO Boards are highly recommended for both residential and eco-friendly commercial buildings. The manufacturing of these boards is energy efficient and can be recycled as well.

MILDEW & MOLD REPULSIVE
Magnesium Oxide Boards do not give any chance to the growth of mildew or mould on its surface as the raw materials used are inedible. They are completely termite and fungi proof as well. Making it an excellent material in the construction of false ceiling and drywall partitions in Hospitals and laboratories.

FIRE RESISTANCE
Magnesium Oxide Board (MgO Board) is a Class A1 Non-combustible board. Magnesium oxide boards do not contain any form of hazardous crystalline silica and have very low CO² emissions. In combination with an Insulation material, MgO Boards can provide fire resistance ranging from 60 to 240 Minutes

DRYWALL PARTITIONS
MGO Boards are very strong and durable when compared to standard gypsum boards. Under temperature changes, these boards do not expand or contract. This particular characteristic of magnesium oxide board makes it a suitable alternative in the construction of Drywall Partitions.
WALL CLADDING
Magnesium Oxide Board is very ductile in nature and has a good bend strength. Making it a suitable material for Fascia Wall Cladding & Structural Sheathing. MGO Boards are perfect for impact prone applications as they have a high shock resistance property.
FALSE CEILING
Magnesium Oxide Boards can be used for both standard False Ceiling and Suspended Grid Ceiling. When compared to the conventional Gypsum Board False ceiling, MgO Boards are a much better option as they are not only strong, but also provide other benefits such as heat resistance, moisture resistance, thermal insulation and soundproofing.
