ABOUT ACOUSTIC TREATMENT
Acoustic treatment is the process of controlling sound reflections within a room. Acoustic treatment lessens the effect of undesirable Echo and Noise in order to improve the clarity and quality of the sound. Acoustic treatment can be achieved by using various acoustic panels, acoustic boards clubbed with Insulation Acoustic Foams. There are mainly two elements that have to be considered while carrying out Acoustic Treatment: Absorption and Diffusion.
In general, people consider Absorption and Diffusion to be the same. They are not the same and play separate roles in Acoustic Treatment. Sound Diffusion is the process of disseminating the sound waves reflecting in a certain direction. Thus, resulting in scattering the energy and dispersing the sound evenly in random directions. The process does not remove sound energy, but only scatters it over a wide area without absorbing it from the room.
When compared to Diffusion, Sound absorption is the process of eliminating / removing sound energy from the room. The process involves using a combination of Acoustic Panels and Acoustic Insulation Foams to convert sound energy into heat energy. Class-A Acoustic Panels and Foams are the most optimal materials; as they help in eliminating over 90% of the Sound energy.

PET Polyester Acoustic Panels are an acoustically absorbent panel made from 100% PET plastic with a felt-like finish. These Polyester Acoustic Panels are Porous in nature which makes it ideally suitable for Acoustic Treatment, sound absorption, Heat and thermal insulation. These PET Acoustic Panels can be applied for both Wall Paneling and False Ceiling. Thus, helping in achieving an N.R.C of up to 0.7 to 0.95.
PET Polyester Acoustic Panel comprises of flame retardant fibers and is an Eco-friendly product. It produces no harmful substances when compared to Fiber glass wool insulation or Mineral Rock wool insulation.

Polyester wadding is mainly used as a substitute for Fiber Glass wool and Mineral Rock wool Insulation for Acoustic and Thermal Treatment as it is safer and a Non-Carcinogenic material in nature.

Mineral Rockwool Slabs
Rock wool insulation, also known as mineral wool or stone wool is a type of insulation made from actual stone. Rock wool Slabs have excellent properties in terms of Sound insulation, Sound baffle, High Thermal Insulation along with high melting point. Rock wool insulation is composed of fluffy glass fibers made from a substance called Mineral rock.
The Process involving heating the rock in a furnace to about 3,000 degrees until it melts into a liquid. The liquid Magma like substance is then exposed to a high pressure jet in order to create long fiber strands. The strands are then put together creating a thick dense slabs / mat, which is further cut into convenient-sized batts of insulation.

All Acoustic Panels, Acoustic Boards, Acoustic Foams and Ceiling tiles from JITEX and TACET provide a very high Noise Reduction Co-efficient. 18mm Wood wool board provides an NRC up to 0.90. The NRC value of Acoustic Treatment materials available ranges between 0.50 to 0.90. Thus, making materials available for all kinds of Acoustic requirements.
FIRE RESISTANCE
All Acoustic treatments materials have very high fire resistance properties. As wood wool boards are composed of cement, these Acoustic boards have a high resistance towards fire and comply to all Standards and norms. Likewise, other Acoustic Panels and Acoustic foams do not produce black smoke and give fire restistance ranging between 60 – 120 minutes.
SURFACE FINISH
Wood Wool boards can be finished with either Fabric or Spray paint. These Acoustic Panels can also be cut into any shape possible whether it being circle, Triangle or Hexagon. Whereas, PET Polyester Acoustic Boards come with a pre-finished color and require no further finish. They are available in wide range of colors and can be cut into any shape & size.
DURABILITY
Our Acoustic Panels, Acoustic Boards and Acoustic foams are very durable and flexible in nature. They can be easily transported and shifted from one place to another and has a very easy installation process.
PET Polyester board is a DIY product which can be installed with ease.
TERMITE PROOF
As Wood wool Acoustic Boards are mainly composed of Portland Cement, these panels are termite and fungi proof. They cannot be destroyed by termites. Same goes with PET Polyester Acoustic Panel as well. Hence, making it a suitable alternate for other materials such as Plywood, MDF Board or Gypsum Board.
ECO-FRIENDLY
Wood wool board, PET Polyester board and Polyester Wadding are manufactured from Non-carcinogenic material. They are asbestos free and do not cause any form of harm or irritation. These Acoustic Treatment materials do not disintegrate over a period of time and can be reused and recycled as well.
