About Easi – Fill Quick Set Jointing Compound
GYPROC Easi Fill Quick Set is a Gypsum based jointing and finishing powder. Unlike other Jointing compounds, Gyproc Easi Fill Quick Set has a very quick setting time i.e. 5 – 10 Minutes. It is ideal to apply where very quick jointing and finishing is required. Gyproc Easi Fill Quick Set Jointing Compound is very easy to mix and apply. It increases crack resistance and have zero or minimum wastage.

Applications of Gyproc Easi Fill Quick Set Jointing Compound
False Ceiling & Partitions
Saint Gobain Gyproc Easi Fill Quick set Jointing compound is used as a setting powder for joint finishing in False Ceiling and Drywall Partitions. After the installation of Gypsum Boards, the joints between each board is covered with a layer of Jointing tape and finished off with 2-3 layers of Gyproc Easi Fill Quick set Jointing compound. This process helps in acquiring a smooth and seamless finish between each board.
Process of Jointing & Finishing
1st COAT
Using an applicator, fill the Edge recess formed of the Gypsum sheets with Gyproc Easi Fill Quick Set Jointing Compound. Centre the Jointing tape or Paper Tape along the joint and using a Trowel, press the tape down into the Easi Fill Quick Set Jointing Compound. Ensure no air bubbles remain behind the Jointing tape. Immediately apply a thin coat of Easi-Fill Quick Set Jointing Compound over the surface of the tape and allow it to dry.
2nd COAT
Apply a second coat of Gyproc Easi Fill Quick Set Jointing Compound. Ensure that the 2nd coat extends outside the area of the first coat i.e. 200 – 250 mm wide. Allow the 2nd coat to thoroughly dry.
3rd COAT
Apply a final finishing coat of Gyproc Easi Fill Quick Set Jointing Compound with an Applicator. The Joint edges should be feathered by at least 50 mm beyond the edges of the previous coat. Allow it to dry and lightly sand in the same direction using a sandpaper.
