About Pro – Fill Jointing Compound
GYPROC Pro Fill Jointing compound is a Polymer based powdered jointing compound for joint finishing. It is used for joint finishing between Gypsum Boards. Gyproc Pro fill jointing compound is a very important material in the finishing of Gypsum Board False ceiling and Gypsum Board Partitions. Gyproc Pro fill jointing compound helps in giving a smooth and aesthetic finish to the board. Gyproc Pro Fill JC can also be used to fill small gaps and finishing of internal and external corner joints.

Applications of Gyproc Pro Fill Jointing Compound
False Ceiling & Partitions
Saint Gobain Gyproc Pro Fill Jointing compound is used as a setting powder for joint finishing in False Ceiling and Drywall Partitions. After the installation of Gypsum Boards, the joints between each board is covered with a layer of Jointing tape and finished off with 2-3 layers of Gyproc Pro Fill Jointing compound. This process helps in acquiring a smooth and seamless finish between each board.
Process of Jointing & Finishing
1st COAT
Using an applicator, fill the Edge recess formed of the Gypsum sheets with Gyproc Pro Fill Jointing Compound. Centre the Jointing tape or Paper Tape along the joint and using a Trowel, press the tape down into the Gyproc Pro Fill Jointing Compound. Ensure no air bubbles remain behind the Jointing tape. Immediately apply a thin coat of Pro-Fill Jointing Compound over the surface of the tape and allow it to dry.
2nd COAT
Apply a second coat of Gyproc Pro Fill Jointing Compound. Ensure that the 2nd coat extends outside the area of the first coat i.e. 200 – 250 mm wide. Allow the 2nd coat to thoroughly dry.
3rd COAT
Apply a final finishing coat of Gyproc Pro Fill Jointing Compound with an Applicator. The Joint edges should be feathered by at least 50 mm beyond the edges of the previous coat. Allow it to dry and lightly sand in the same direction using a sandpaper.
