These Lay on Ceiling tiles are available in Tegular Edge with designs ranging from simple plain white to various perforations i.e. various hole patterns in order to optimize them for better aesthetics and acoustics. Metal Ceiling tiles are a light-weight and very economical way to install false ceiling. METAL CEILING TILE APPLICATIONS
Metal Ceiling tiles are suspended using T-Grid channels in order to create a secondary ceiling or also known as False ceiling. With the help of T-Grid channels, a modular Grid section of 600mm x 600mm is created and the Metal ceiling tiles are laid on to the channel. The T grids are attached to the main ceiling using rods and fasteners. The Suspended grids not only adds to the aesthetics of the room but it also hides any exposed wires, cables and pipes. All Metal Ceiling tiles are chrome metal and are ideal for large, open environments such as conference rooms, commercial establishments, museums, convention centers, stadiums, hospitals and restaurants. With a insulation infill of either Fiber Glasswool, Mineral Rockwool or Polywool, Metal ceiling tiles help in better Acoustic Treatment, Heat insulation and Thermal Insulation.

Is Metal ceiling tile better than other False ceiling tiles?
Metal ceiling tile definitely surpasses other False ceiling tiles in certain aspects. Metal ceiling tiles are stronger when compared to Mineral fiber ceiling tile and PVC Gypsum laminated ceiling tile. They do not break easily and provide very good heat and thermal resistance. Although, when compared to Acoustic properties, Metal ceiling tiles if placed alone do not provide enough NRC Value when compared to Mineral fiber ceiling tile or Fiber glass wool tile. They have to be backed up with an infill insulation such as Fiber glass wool, Mineral rock wool or Polywool in order to achieve the required N.R.C level.
How is metal ceiling tiles installed and is it better than Gypsum Board False ceiling?
JITEX Metal ceiling tiles are all Lay on Tiles. A 2ft x 2ft modular framework is constructed using T-Grid channels which are suspended using GI Rods and Anchor fasteners. After the channels are installed, the Metal tiles are laid on to the channel one after the other. A grid system is always beneficial in terms of maintenance when compared to Gypsum false ceiling as the tiles can be removed and placed easily in case of any maintenance work is required. Also, replacing any damaged tile is always cost effective rather than replacing the entire Gypsum board False ceiling. Thus, making it a suitable alternative for corporate spaces, conference rooms, theaters, auditoriums etc.
What kind of edge do Metal ceiling tiles have?
JITEX Metal ceiling tiles are available only in Tegular edge. They do not come in square edge. The reason being, tegular edge helps in increasing the strength of the tiles at the edges and prevents the tile from sagging at the center. However, square edge can also be manufactured on order basis.
What is Guage thickness of Metal ceiling tiles?
The guage of Metal ceiling tiles is 0.45mm
Can the Metal ceiling tiles be painted?
Jitex Metal Ceiling tiles come with a Pre – finished white powder coating. However, they can be further painted to any color of your choice. The recommended procedure is to Powder coat the Metal ceiling tiles. However, standard Paint can also be used as an economical alternative.
Do Metal ceiling tiles prevent the spread of fire?
All Metal ceiling tiles are fire-retardant and meet Class A flame-spread ratings.
Where can I install Metal ceiling tiles in my Home?
