Bison Panel or also known as Bison Board is a Cement Bonded Particle Board made out of Cement and Mineralised wood particles. Bison Panel comprises of 62% Cement and 28% Eucalyptus / Poplar Wood. As Bison Panels are extremely Durable, Flexible, Fire and Water resistant in nature, these multi – purpose boards can be used for both Interior and Exterior applications ranging from False Ceiling, Partitions, Internal and External Wall Cladding, Furniture, Wardrobes etc. Bison Panels / Bison boards are Eco – friendly and Non – Toxic in Nature. It is a Non-carcinogenic material and 100% asbestos free.

FIRE RESISTANT
Bison Panels are highly Fire resistant and is considered one of the safest construction materials for False Ceiling, Dry wall Partitions and Wall Cladding whether being for Internal or External Applications.

MOISTURE & WATER RESISTANT
Bison Panels have compeltely weather resistant and do not get affected by moisture and water. They help in the prevention of Fungi, mildew and mold growth on its surface.

TERMITE RESISTANCE
Since Bison Boards have a cement coating over mineralised wood particles, they are not all affected by termites. Unlike Plywood, they do not get damaged by termite infestation.

DURABLE
As Cement is the core component of Bison board, it makes the board very durable in nature. They have a very high longevity even with very little maintenance. They can be easily transported and unloaded with very minimal to zero damage.

STABILITY AND ECO – FRIENDLY
Bison Panels are considered to be a very stable construction material. No form of swelling is noticed even if the Panel is submerged in water for a very long time. They are eco friendly in nature and do not contain any kind of toxic materials.

EASY TO INSTALL
Bison Boards are very easy to install. It can be quickly installed on to any False ceiling and Partition framework. With very few joints and the coverage of the Joints using Elastomeric Jointing compound, they give a very clean look.

APPLICATONS OF BISON PANEL
FALSE CEILING
When compared to Gypsum Boards, Bison Panels are an excellent alternative that can be used in any kind of False ceiling where additional properties such as Weather, Heat and Thermal resistance is required. The Process involves the same as Gypsum Board false ceiling; However, instead of Gypsum Board, Bison Panels are fixed on to the channel.
DRY – WALL PARTITIONS
Similar to False Ceiling, Bison Boards can be used in the construction of Dry wall Partitions as well. After the structure is erected, Bision Boards are fixed on the channel and the Joints are finished off with Jointing tape and Jointing compound. The Partition would look similar to that of a wall and also be very strong when compared to traditional Gypsum Partitions.
WALL CLADDING
Bison Panels are widely used as a wall cladding material for both internal and external walls. The Natural Greyish finish of the board gives a very rustic cementitious look. They can be installed directly on to a wall or can be installed on to a framework as well. Recommended Board Thickness is 10mm with a Groove of 6mm between each board to obtain best aesthetics.
SOUND PROOFING
Bison Boards have very good Sound Proofing properties. They can be installed on both ceilings and walls in order to create a Sound reflective enclosure. In combination with an infill insulation material such as Mineral Rockwool, the soundproofing capacity can be enchanced upto 120 dB level.
FURNITURE AND WARDROBES
Bison Panel is an excellent material that can be used as an alternative in the building of Wardrobes and Furniture. Not only is it an Environment friendly product, but they also provide the same workability features to that of Plywood but with additonal benefits such as 100% Water proof and Termite proof.
