Acoustic treatment for a 4 seater Home theater in Jaynagar, Bangalore

Acoustic Treatment for the Home Theater involved a 6 Layer Process. The first stage involved the construction of Framework. A GI Partition structure of size 2ft x 2ft was installed all over the wall with an infill of 50mm thick JITEX Fiber glass wool Insulation of 36 Kg density installed in the hollow area. The next stage involved the installation of Acoustic Panels. 18mm Thick JITEX Wood Wool Board was screwed on to the channel using Self drilling screws and the Acoustic Boards were finished with 12mm Thick PVC Gripper Track system, 12mm PU Foam and Leatherite Fabric.

A simple design consisting of rectangular boxes was adopted between each Wooden Column. The Area was divided equally in to three rectangular halves and fabric was installed. A Greyish color was chosen in order to match the wooden columns. This not only complimented the other elements of the room but also helped in maintaining a Standard Home Theater Appearance.
