Acoustic Treatment for a Media Recording Studio in Indiranagar, Bangalore.

Acoustic Treatment was carried out in Two stages. The First stage involved the treatment of the Live Room. As no form of framework or channel work is required for these boards, Tacet PET Polyester Acoustic board was directly glued on to the wall using adhesive. With PET Acoustic Board. The acoustic treatment process was carried out on three walls. A combination of Black, Yellow and Beige colors were chosen and the Acoustic Boards were cut into random Triangular shapes. After pasting the PET Acoustic Boards, the Live room portrayed a more sophisticated, trendy and modern look. Thus, giving equal importance to both Acoustic Treatment and Aesthetics.

The second stage of Acoustic Treatment involved the treatment of the Control Room. A different approach was applied for this process. A framework of GI Partition channels were installed next to the walls and an infill of 50mm thick Mineral Rock wool insulation of 96 Kg density / m3 was laid inside the channels. This was further finished with 18mm thick JITEX Wood Wool Acoustic Board and 9mm Thick TACET PET Polyester Acoustic panels. The wood wool boards were fixed to the Partition channels using Self Drilling screws and the PET Polyester Acoustic Boards were pasted on to the wood wool boards using adhesive. The same color combination and design was applied to the control room as well. Mineral Rock wool insulation took care of Soundproofing and Wood wool board along with PET Polyester board took care of Acoustic Treatment.
