Aerocon Panels / Aerocon Blocks is a Ready made EPS Cement Sandwich Panel used in the construction of Internal and External Partition walls. It is also known as Extruded Polystyrene (EPS) Wall Panel. Aerocon Blocks consists of a tight Insulating layer compried of Theromocol and Cemenet which is sandwiched between two layers of Magnesium Oxide Board or Fiber Cement board. The rigid insulation core of the Aerocon Panel acts as a web, while the MGO or Fiber Cement boards fulfill the function of the flanges.

Aerocon Blocks are very lightweight and durable in nature. They can be used for both Interior and Exterior Applications such as creating Partition Walls, Boundary Walls, Foundation Walls, Roofing etc.

EASY TO INSTALL

When compared to a standard brick Wall, installing Aerocon Panels for an area of 500 Sft would take only 1 – 2 Days. Whereas, a brick wall would require 5 to 7 days and an additional 7 days for curing and plastering. Aerocon Panels do not require any form of curing and plastering. It can be directly finished using Putty, Primer and Paint.

WEATHER PROOF

Aerocon Blocks is a completely weather resistant Building material. It has no effect when exposed to Water, Heat, Wind or Dust. Even in extreme weather conditions, Aerocon Blocks do not spoil or deteriorate over a period of time. Thus, making it an excellent construction material for both internal and external walls.

TERMITE PROOF

As these Ready made Partition wall Systems are made from a mixture of Portland Cement and extruded polystyrene, they are termite and fungi Proof. Unlike Plywood, Gypsum Board or MDF Board, Aerocon Blocks cannot be damaged by termites and eliminates any kind of fungi formation on its surface.

DURABLE

Aerocon Panels are very lightweight and Durable in nature. These panels can be transported, shifted and installed very easily. Thus, making it an ideal material for both load and non-load bearing floors as well.

FIRE RESISTANT

Aerocon Blocks have very good fire resistance properties. They can withstand a continuous heating environment up to 82 degrees, When compared to gypsum board partition, EPS Cement Sandwich Panels comply to all fire standards.

LONG LIFE

These ready made partition blocks have a very low deterioration and shrinkage level. When compared to other Dry wall Partitions, Aerocon Panels guarantee very high security and a life expectancy of 15 + years.

AEROCON PANEL / AEROCON BLOCK INSTALLATION PROCESS

Step 1:

The 1st process involves the installation of a C – Channel or a Floor Channel. The channel is installed on the floor and ceiling using Screws and Plugs.

Step 2:

The 2nd step involves the insertion of Aerocon Panels into the channel. Each panel is inserted in the channel one after the other.

Step 3:

Once the panels are slided, they get interlocked with each other and the joints are filled with jointing tape and All purpose jointing compound.

Step 4:

The Partition Panels are then finished off with Putty, Primer and Paint. No form of Plastering or curing is required before painting.

TIME SAVING

Aerocon Panels are very quick and easy to install. The tongue and groove system along with its lighweight feature helps in transporting and installing the panels with ease. As these panels do not require curing and plastering, they minimise the construction and completion time.

RE-USE AND MOBILITY

When compared to other wall systems, EPS Cement Sandwich Panel is the only Partition wall system that allows the removal and refixing of the panels to an alternate place. They can be easily and quickly dismantled, transported and installed. Making it an economical form of Dry wall Partition system.

SPACE UTILIZATION

A 75mm thick Aerocon Panel is equivalent to that of a 150mm concrete wall. This helps in saving a lot of space and energy. Any kind of fixtures, furniture and Electonic devices can be mounted on to the wall panel. Thus, acting as a normal wall but with better space utilization.

SOUND INSULATION

As Aerocon Wall Panels are made from Thermocol and cement which is sandwiched between two Fiber cement boards, they automatically give a good amount of Sound Insulation. No form of additional treatment or infill insulation is required for Heat, thermal and Sound Insulation.

LONG LIFE

These Panels do not deteriorate or get damaged so easily. No matter what the weather condition is, Aerocon panels remain intact. The life of EPS Cement Sandwich Panel on average is about 50 years. Besides, these panels can be used in all four seismic zones of India i.e. zone V, IV, III and II.

ECO – FRIENDLY

Aerocon Panel is a Green Building material and is completely free of Toxic substances. The panel is a Non-carcinogenic material; does not contain Asbestos and is irritation free during application. The Panel is completely eco-friendly as it can be easily reused and recycled.
