EPS Cement Sandwich Panel, also known as Extruded Polystyrene (EPS) Panel is a structural insulated panel used in the construction industry for creating partition walls. It consists of a rigid Insulating layer sandwiched between two layers of board. The structural board of the EPS Cement Sandwich Panel can either be of Magnesium Oxide Board (MgO) or Cement Fiber Board. The rigid insulation core of the EPS Panel acts as a web, while the outer boards fulfill the function of the flanges. EPS Cement sandwich panels combine several components such as studs, joists, insulation, vapor and air barrier.

With EPS cement sandwich panels being lightweight and durable, they can be used of many different Interior and Exterior Applications such as creating Partitions, Foundation systems, Roofing etc.

Where a standard brick Wall of 500 Sft takes up to 5 to 7 days for completion excluding the time taken for Curing and plastering, EPS Cement Sandwich Panels take only 1 day for constructing a 500 Sft Wall and requires no curing at all. They can be easily transported and shifted without any problems.

DURABLE

When compared to standard Cement brick walls, EPS Cement Sandwich Panels are very lightweight and Durable. They can be easily transported and installed in places that have a very low load bearing capacity. Making it a good product for being for both Interior and Exterior projects.

WATER RESISTANT

EPS Cement Sandwich Panels can be used for both Interior and Exterior Applications. These Ready made Partition Panels are completely weather proof and do not deteriorate when exposed to rain, wind, dust or extreme heat. Making it an All-weather proof material.

FIRE RESISTANT

With a Continuous heating resistance of up to 82 degrees, EPS Cement Sandwich Panels have a very good resistance towards fire and heat and comply to all Fire Standards.

TERMITE PROOF

As EPS Cement Sandwich Panels are mainly composed of Portland Cement and extruded polystyrene, these panels are termite proof and cannot be destroyed by termites. Hence, making it a suitable alternate for other materials such as Plywood, MDF Board or Gypsum Board.

LOW SHRINKAGE

Apart from being Lightweight and Durable, EPS cement sandwich panels have a very low shrinkage or deterioration level, giving it a Guarantee and a very high longevity of up to 15 to 20 years.

EPS CEMENT SANDWICH PANEL INSTALLATION PROCESS

Step 1:

C – Channel / Floor channel similar to that of Gypsum Board Partition channel to be installed on the ceiling and floor. G.I / Alluminium can be used.

Step 2:

Insert the first EPS Cement Sandwich panel in the channel and continue the process of inserting the other panels next to each other.

Step 3:

Cover the grooves with All Purpose Jointing compound or Portland Cement.

Step 4:

Finish the EPS Cement Sandwich Panel with Putty, Primer and Paint.
